Returning Player Registration

Returning players must be registered prior to the session. Players not registered by November 21st will be unable to continue participating in the session. Please register here.

One Week Trial & New Player Registration

New players are welcome to join at any time. We offer a one week trial for new players. Please register your athlete for a one week free trial here. If you wish to continue with the session after a one week trial please talk to one of our coaches or email Coach Neil. We also offer prorated sessions for athletes joining in the middle of a session.

USA Water Polo Membership

An up to date membership with our governing body USA Water Polo is required for participation in CDM Polo. We recommend a Bronze Membership for those new to water polo and a Gold Membership for returning athletes. Please make sure of the following:

1. Athlete must be registered with CDM Aquatics Federation, Club #26
2. Upload a photo of your athlete to your account for roster verification checks
3. Complete DOB Verification. This is a ONE-TIME process. Members that have completed this process will not need to do it again.

Age Group Determination

CDM Polo offers 10U, 12U and 14U Boys teams. We follow USA Water Polo's age group placement. Age group level is determined by an athletes age as of August 1, 2025.

2024-2025 Winter Practice Schedule
All practices are at CDM High School Pool. Practice schedule may vary week to week based on pool availability. We will do our best to communicate in advance.

Attendance

We encourage players to make as many practices and competitions as possible. While it is important that players make as many practices as possible, we understand that many players have multiple commitments. Please communicate in advance with your coaches if you will be missing any practice and/or competition. Please understand that practice attendance can impact a players team placement and playing time for certain competition.

Game & Tournament Fees

Games and Tournaments will require additional registration fees. These fees cover league/tournament entry fees, coaches expenses and travel costs if necessary. We do our best to keep these fees to a minimum. Please register your athlete for each individual league or tournament prior to the start date. Athletes not registered prior to games will be invoiced at 10% increase. Competition registrations can be found here.

2024-25 Winter Competition Schedule

This schedule can also be found on the calendar and through the SportsEngine App. Game locations and times are TBD and released the week of the games. This is a preliminary schedule. We will update Futures League dates once available.

Playing Time

Playing time will vary depending on the competition. Our goal is to provide beneficial opportunities for our athletes. Our schedules look to provide a balance of player development and quality competition. Competition at CDM Polo can be placed into 3 categories.

Spa League/Scrimmages
We schedule many Spa League Games and Scrimmages for our teams. These opportunities are best for our players development. Our goal is to give as balanced playing time & opportunity as possible.

Tournaments
We enter our teams in multiple tournaments over the course of the year.  As a tournament progresses, playing time may vary. Our coaches will do their best to give everyone an opportunity and give the team the best chance at placing in the tournament.

Qualifying & Championship Tournaments
These tournaments often include must win games. Our coaches will prioritize giving the team the best opportunity of qualifying and winning. Playing time will not be guaranteed.

CDM Polo Team Gear

Athletes are required to have a team suit and team t-shirt (white) for competition and games. All other gear in the team store is optional. Our gear store is open year round. Please find the link below.
